On Friday the 9th October 2009, the children of Colston Bassett School listened to a talk about fossils by Dr Stephenson, palaeontologist.
The purpose of the visit was so we could learn about fossils. Dr Stephenson explained to us that animals were much bigger then. The dragonfly was 1 metre wide and they also had 2 metre scorpions!
Now I know a lot more about fossils.
