Remembrance Day 2011

Remembrance Day 2011

As part of their work on 'Remembrance Day', Colonel Grey from the Royal British Legion visited the school to give a talk to the children.

Following the talk, both the Colonel and his wife accompanied the children on a walk to St John's Church to visit the war memorial.

The children learnt about the origin of poppies from the talk - a big thank you to Colonel and Mrs Grey for giving up their time to come and visit.
