
Throughout November, the children went on several trips to Southwell Minster.
On Wednesday 2 November, the KS2 children travelled to Southwell for 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' as part of their RE and English work.
On Wednesday 23 November, the Reception children travelled to the Minster to learn about 'Shape' as part of their Maths work. They received a themed tour of the building followed by refreshments and a story.
Finally, on Wednesday 30 November, the KS1 children travelled to the Minster to attend a 'Christmas Festival' morning as part of their RE work. The visit included worship in the nave, craft, drama and story-telling.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed their visits to Southwell Minster and received a rewarding educational experience.
