Opening Hours
The school opening hours are 8:30am–3:45pm Monday–Friday.
Extra curricular clubs run until 4:45pm on Monday and Friday evenings, and 5:15pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings throughout the year (see Extra Curricular section on the About Our School page).
Before and after school care is available from 8:00am–6:00pm on request.
Uniform
Our uniform is compulsory for all children attending Colston Bassett School, and all items of clothing should be clearly named.
When in school uniform, the children are representing the school and should always dress smartly when in and out of school.
All uniform is supplied by Schoolwear Solutions Ltd. and can be purchased online or in-store. The Schoolwear Solutions shop is located at 116–118 Bramcote Avenue, Chilwell, Nottingham NG9 4DR.

Fees and Entitlements
School Fees
Our school fees are £2,366 per term (or £607 per month). Fees are due a term in advance and must be paid in full at the beginning of each term. If parents choose to pay monthly, the fees must be received on the 1st of each month in advance.
Extra curricular activities must be paid for termly in advance (there is no monthly option). The activities must be booked and paid for in full at the start of the term to which they relate in order to guarantee their availability.
Funding Entitlement
The Early Years Funded Entitlement for four-year-olds, which is available from the Local Authority, can be redeemed against school fees.
Parents’ Association
The team of parents who make up the Colston Bassett School Parents’ Association have contributed extensively over the years, organising many successful fundraising events. Funds raised are used to improve equipment and resources to enhance the children’s education and the school facilities.
The Association is open to all parents and we encourage you to join and contribute your skills and expertise and get involved in our fundraising events and activities.
